Beautiful knife...Nice tribute.

I have never been a Nightstalker , as I was retired right around the time the Regiment came into being.

But it would be great to have one of these Tribute offerings.

Order it, dude! You and yours were cool before it was cool to be cool. Us younguns' learned from y'all. And if they won't sell it to you, I'll buy it for me and regift!

(but I think you'll be fine, it's for a good cause)

Does it come with bandaids? Just sayin....
I have seen Ace cut steak, it's not a pretty thing.

All kidding aside, what a great tribute. Can you explain the blade design?

The blade would be described as a Modified (Sharpened) Warn Cliff with a recurve. There is a lot going on lol.

The knife I've got by Darrin is frickin' MASSIVE (in addition to being spectacularly awesome) Great for boar hunting in the brush... use it instead of a spear

Thumbs up Outstanding

I got home from a trip last night, and the package was here.

My experience was exceptional and I am impressed.

I emailed in the form and the next day the Night Stalker Assn called me. A couple days later, Darrin at Tactical Combat called, he got my paperwork and we discussed my order, (each knife is made individually by him and it was apparent he loves his creations) and then he promised to have them out to me in two days. He is a man of his word.

The knives are outstanding and will remain cherished forever.

Thanks Chimo - it's a great effort and for a good cause.

Task Force 160 tribute Knife arrived ...

Thanks for the information Chimo.

My knife arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
It's a rather heavy blade, good heft.

For anyone else who is interested:

Check with the Night Stalkers Association for limits, but you may select a serial number that is significant to you
(perhaps a tail number, call sign, etc.).
After all, this is not a firearm that requires sequential numbering.

I asked for "55A" because that was my MOS -- Judge Advocate -- when I was the JAG for Task Force
since they did not have organic JAG back then (1984).

I did not buy the plaque, since I intend to make my own and incorporate my TF160 coin.

I see that one of these coins is for sale on EBay, where they refer to it as a "Vintage Reagan Era Coin":

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160th-SOAR-T...-/190828187063

They are asking $475 for it.

Yes, my coin is old, but then, so am I.
(Or maybe I should say I am also "vintage").
