You're usually so nuanced and articulate with your insults, this was just blatant and low brow. It isn't like you at all. Did you have a stroke?

My T-Bar "Kettlebell" rig is still working like a champ. What a wonderful exercise the 'Swing' is, just awesome. I dropped them for a while, while some elbow pain healed - but have added them back in as a finisher on Deadlift day. It was either there, or on Squat/RDL day - they seemed to fit better with Deads, for me.

I agree. You could do only swings, and be pretty fit and strong.

I think we've sidetracked the thread long enough

I'm on a longer TDY in AL right now and the KB selection in the gyms is sub-par at best. Knew it was coming though, so already programmed for Wendler's 5/3/1 along with Pavel's pull-up progression (very similar to the Recon Ron progression I found many years ago, not sure which came first) which I'm doing with an additional 45 lbs. Using the heaviest bell I can find to do one-arm swings as a finisher after all that.

I miss my gym back at work quite a bit these days.

I worked out at Golds Gym in Brownsville, TX, they had a decent collection of KB's, even more when I asked the "Fitness Expert" eating a fucking doughnut if all they had was on the rack. He looked at the rack and had that surprised look of the drunk that wakes up to see someone drew a dick on his forehead.

Anyway, it was cool to have a big place to work out, do TGU's without hitting the floor joists in the basement.

This video was offered for it's humor value. I think it's pretty damn funny.

Did you have to wear your Oakleys to fend off the neon lights and gleam of the chrome? Ha! - Fitness Expert @ Golds Gym? Maybe in the 70s...

I raised my weight on the S&S. I am up to 60 lbs on the 5 x 10 single arm swings and 50 lbs on the 5 x TGU's each side.

Somebody joked about using a shoe to practice.....but that is exactly what I am going to do after tweaking my shoulder by trying to go to fast. Actually maybe I will start with a feather.

Not a joke. And I totally understand the going too fast bit - been there myself.
