It appears that your time spent in body armor has had little to no effect on your SA.

Blazingshadow, Silverbullet is an admin. He wanted your explanation and nothing else.

Stop derailing this tread, please.

I would edit it , but I can't. Like i said, no disrespect.

Getting back to the subject at hand I didn't notice any schedule, so this is a 12 hour/ 7 days work rotation?

So $163 * 365 days = $58,680

Any completion bonus?

Somehow the least experienced person always misses the actual point.

One would think that on a mil site, especially SOCNET, that a new join who never served would be very cautious in using certain terminology.

Adding, no disrespect intended doesn't change any of it.

New guy - FYI SB wasn't the one that opened up the can of worms, you were. But, even if he did, he is the individual that runs this site, and it is his prerogative to open up as many worm cans that he wants in order to get clarification on what members here are all about or asking. So I would limit the sarcasm if I were you.

Your egotistical need to elaborate actually may have opened up some additional cans of worms for you. I have highlighted a couple of your statements that don't seem to add up.

For more clarification - How does an individual, with no military experience, get into contracts which you insinuate were in high risk areas (wearing "body armor") and work his way up to making 6 figures and having done FIVE different contracts? I have been in the contracting world for a very long time and I have to say your situation is extremely unusual. Not necessarily impossible, just not the norm.

If indeed this true, then one would think that you have a great deal of experience, are able to navigate yourself through the PMC "want ads", and wouldn't need to come here and ask so many stupid and sarcastic questions.

Please clarify before anyone else wastes their time trying to help you. Thanks

Do you realize that if you spent as much time researching the net for answers to your questions, as you have trying to fuck with us, you would probably have all the answers you need by now?

And for the record, I don't believe a single thing you have posted in this thread.

Blazing: I left KAF in December, it is 171 a day... ground managers keep the work schedule 3 on 1 off if possible... boardwalk is gone... the Taliban never made in on the US Military installation when they attacked... there is no completion bonus... you work directly with Americans, AF security forces to ensure only those with proper clearance have access to the flightily... no perimeter work... and depending on the AF SNOIC you might not even have to wear your body armor, SOP changed twice once in favor and once not... any questions about the contract I will answer as best I can.

The recruiter I spoke with and the paperwork that I have seen says $338 per day. 15 weeks on 5 weeks off. The 5 weeks you are off you are not paid for but they pay for travel to and from theater. If anyone else can add to this.......

Your math seems to be in error $338 X 7x 15 x + 338 x 7 x 12 = 99352

Close to 6 figures but not quite.

also if you reenter the US and spend more than 36 days during that year you will be ineligible for the ta exclusion.

It's a dead industry, get out while you can.

The company I work for is hiring only Bulgarians now for $66 a day on BAF.

LOL, not really. Like everything in life, there are great opportunities for those with the proper skill set and experience.
