AM: 25 PU, 35 SU, 1 mile on treadmill @ 8:13 mile pace and Pull-ups on weight assisted machine to muscle failure.

PM: 25 PU, 35 SU, 4.5 mile run, non-timed.

AM: 25 PU, 35 SU; 3 pull-ups, machine assisted pull-ups 5 at -40lbs, 5 at -50lbs and 4 at -60lbs, 1 mile on treadmill at 8min mile pace

PM: 25 PU 35 SU, 4.5 miles non-timed.

PM: 1.6 mile run non-timed; 25 PU, 35 SU. Now I have to figure out if two light days = 1 rest day, or if I still need to take a rest day on Sunday.

SOTB, ever find towards the end of Running 20 that the "sprint" is more of a shuffle? (I do!)

Today, AM (quickie, before heading out) 1/2 Tabatas (4 rounds each) of pushups, situps, squats.

PM 1-15 ladder pushups in pro mask
3 mile run- intervals, hammering the uphill stretches

Noon: 30 PU; 40 SU. 1.5 mile interval run w/ workout stations. Workout stations: 1 chin-up; 24 PU; 34 SU; 3 dips.

PM: 30 PU; 40 SU. 1.5 mile interval run plus a hill work-out.

Even though it's derived from XFit, I am no longer an XFitter, and I don't kip anymore...so I'll put it here.

I subbed situps for pushups today.

To an extent, yes. But I'm not sure it is the running that is the problem, as much as an overall loss of strength, that I only see recovery beginning about a 1/4 of the way into the 25m sprint.

But yeah, definitely an impact upon running performance. My second 1k demos nothing less than a tired person trying to not pass out....

Yesterday PM: 30 PU 40 SU; 6 mile run

Today AM: 1 mile treadmill warm-up. 3 max reps sets of assisted chin-ups (-50lbs) 30 PU, 40 SU, 2 mile interval run and hill workout.
