Hitman: Agent 47

Saw it yesterday. A lot of violence but somewhat dry.

Haven't seen it yet, but the trailer hasn't given me much hope...

Instead of performing clever assassinations making them look like accidents, it seems to be another shoot 'em up movie, with the same tired plot of Agent 47 trying to rescue some girl / hooker just like the last movie, while performing superhuman feats and killing bad guys by the dozens (who all seem to miss him constantly).

Please tell me I'm wrong.

It does star Rupert Friend (Quinn from Homeland who is a badass) so I'll just treat it as another episode of Homeland with less dialog and Carrie crying and be able to enjoy myself

I'm going to check out the original Hitman with Timothy Olyphant. I generally don't get into movies that are based on video games, but it looks like it could be pretty good.

The original was "unique" I liked it. The second one was a bit silly.
