Icon5 USMC scout sniper?

Regiment been sending guys to USMC scout sniper school over the last several years? Friend of mine in NG just told me they got a new guy in their unit, former Bat guy who was a sniper, multiple tours down range, and says went to Army Sniper, SF sniper and USMC sniper schools.

I've known a few Batt boys that went to Scout Sniper from Batt.

I don't know about the last couple of years, but my partner in '99 was a 3/75 guy. Had another one in my class, but he was dropped for land nav.

2001-2004, 3 or 4 Batt guys went through 2nd Mar Div school house at Camp Lejeune NC. My memory is a bit sketchy on details though.

Not unusual. I had two SF guys and a SEAL in my basic course and two Regiment guys in my advance course.

2 Soldiers from the 75th RR were the Honor Grads at Quantico in May. Definitely not unheard of.
