The one Glock I regret selling though was my Glock 30. That was my main CCW for many years. Need to get another one.

After pretty much for the last year though, just shooting 1911 and P7m8s, it is nice to get back to having magazines with more than 8 rounds. You can hear me saying at the range, "Does this thing ever run dry?"

Of course my groups with the 17 are no where near as nice as the p7m8 and Les Baer groups.

My Roomate at FTCKY became a cop in Nashville and he had a pocket inside the carrier of his vest that was right inside the left side, over his heart.

As a patrol cop, I carried a P239 in a holster that was mounted on the Velcro straps which connected my soft armor, on the side under my arm. Did that for 3-4 years, never had an issue. Other guys I worked with carried G26s and G27s with the same setup.

It's my issue gun for plainclothes work. It's awesome. Best Glock I possess. (I own a 19 and a 26 and the city issue some a 17 and a 30).

I'll be throwing a few hundred round through it in Friday....paid for by the city.

Really taking a hard look at the new Glock 19X. The full
Size grip with 17 round mag of the Glock 17, combined with the shorter frame of the Glock 19 and some of the features of the gen 5 models.

I was issued one by my agency in 1991. I thought they were trying to kill me. Plastic gun? What the freaking budget pencil pusher hell?

But, I quickly realized how far out ahead we were on that one.

That color has to go. But I like the idea and the mags, not so stoked about the price.

I just ordered a flared mag well and Zev trigger for my 17, I guess this means I need to purchase the same for my 19

I have a Gen2 17 and a Gen3 19. The 17 is my go to, I bought the 19 for the wife and she doesn't like it. On the rare occasions I use the 19 I just stick 17 mags in it. It's ugly, but I don't care. I have tiny ass hands anyway, so the grip on the 19 is plenty long enough for my little organ grinder monkey hands.

On sale at rural king now for $599. Kind of 50/50 on the Coyote Brown color.

LP I suspect you would qualify for the Glock Blue Label program and could get a very good price that way.

I shoot my gen 2 17 better than I shoot any other pistol.

Lot of writers and vloggers hating on it. One reviewer hated it but planned on buying it and dremeling off lanyard loop etc. Hence why I don't listen to the majority of you tube types.
I'm looking forward to trying one.

Pretty sure the lanyard loop can be removed without drama or cutting implements.

Is it the Glock I have been waiting for? No. Is it the Glock anyone was waiting for? No. So what, says I...I'll buy a 19X, because 'Murica, and I can.For all the Youtube handwringers, don't buy one...

I have been running a 26 with a 19 grip for a while. Same concept of the 19X to some degree. I love it, many hate it, such is life. Fanboys of any product amuse me.

How are you accomplishing that? When I carried a 26 I would just use a 19 mag.

A magazine extension is permanently attached (and with stippling looks stock). I run G19 or G17 mags.

Yes, you can run a mag extension, but you can't do reloads and permanently affixing the extension allows for a more consistent grip.
