^^^^ This.

Love the pic with food lines and the cartoon is great. Personally, I like the satellite pic of North and South Korea at night. However, these tools - Warren, Bernie... etc., are ideologues and socialism / government is their religion, which will solve everyone’s ills. Those that don’t believe and understand are in it for power and power alone.

As I read the bill, it requires companies grossing $1billion to register as US Corporations and then endow some “public benefit” on society and take other people’s feelings into account. But I just skimmed through it. Reading it made my brain hurt because it’s crappy drafting.

We have to pass it to find out what's in it.

Truth. During the presidential election I encountered multiple Bernie supports who all wanted that socialist dream. The one question I always asked them, "Do you trust the government with your money?" I ALWAYS got a no...so why the hell would you give them more of it, suddenly expecting them to be responsible with it?!

True for our society, not so for humanities... I wasn't assuming, or even alluding to, the progressive socialists being weak. It's very apparent the right is and has been being defeated for quite some time now.

That's a nice quote, and I believe may fit in with the one I quoted more than you may be inclined to think. To me, they're almost one in the same, merely describing the other.

I think we already know they took over a long time ago. The left has moved the "center" to the left so far that the right wing party 100 years ago would wage war if they awoke from their graves today.

The "right wing" party of 50 years from now will be arguing to keep just universal basic income and free education/medical/food while retaining private property, while the left will be trying to move you onto the co-op... The right is simply minimizing it's losses.

Absolutely correct. However, the pendulum has to swing. When the lefties take over we all know what happens. We've seen it happen 1000 times in other places. History is cyclic.

I'm 51. I may or may not have to deal with the shitshow that we all know is coming when they get the reins. They'll fuck it up. Somebody will be along to fix it in a couple of generations. Lopping heads and whatnot, but it will eventually fix itself.

The left has done impressive things consistently pretending to be weak, while they take over everything. In the mean time, the right twiddles their bowties while claiming to be "nice" and "respectable." S/F....Ken M

But do they really pretend to be weak, or does the right just like to believe they are weak because it’s easier than coming to the realization that there is too much to lose if we(collectively) engage in any sort of fight with them.

I find her proposal to be fascinating. The blatant power grab over the private sector leaves me wondering if the democratic party believes the time is ripe for this type of rampant and open socialism. Or if they have been driven so mad by the Presidents success that they have been forced by either ego or desperation to do away with any semblance of pretense.

This is happening right here in Ohio, today.

Ohio is one of four monopolistic states left in the country (where you HAVE to buy your workers comp insurance from the state and competitively-rated carriers are statutorily prohibited from offering/selling the coverage - like the rest of the industrialized world).

The work comp bureau here is notoriosuly mismanaged and had been overcharging its constituents (OH companies) for years/decades. The state recently had some bad press about the enormous pulsating pile of money they are sitting on and have decided to return it in chunks over years.

But to the premium-paying companies?

No. Not wholly, anyway. The fucks are giving the money to fire departments for washing machines.

It's no secret why they're going balls deep into left wing socialism. The 2016 election with Bernie proved the time is now ripe for batshit socialist policies.

The republicans did a FINE job destroying the economic prosperity of millions of citizens coming to voting age. And the solution has been pimped in every higher learning institution for decades: Marxist socialism.

Get ready for the most insane left-wing shit you've seen once these clowns get in power again. Mark my words.

I still think if Bernie had been on the ticket, Trump would have lost.

Call me an optimist. I honestly believe there are a lot of people in this country who actually practice the tolerance that the left professes to, and have remained silent so far because while they may not like the ideas that the left has been hammering down their throats, up to now they haven't constituted an actual quantifiable threat.

Now that the left has stopped trying to disguise their actual agenda, and you start hearing shit like nationalizing corporations and making it a finable offense to use a non-preferred gender pronoun, I think you are going to see the level of tolerance for the crazy change dramatically. People are already saying that's enough, and not all of them saying it are people you'd consider right wing.

I could be wrong. Hope not.

As long as both parties continue to insist on nominating candidates that are just a part of the machine, people can be as fed up as they want because it won't mean anything. And the parties will not do this. They'll start a global war before they allow their power structures to become threatened.

The Left is actually weak, just look how they react when a moderate like Trump does minor things? As discussed elsewhere, the actual laws allow far more "rigorous" actions, to the point where we can probably get the seditious and subversive filth to openly revolt so they can be properly expelled and/or genocided.

Which brings me to point 2, the "right" has the major problem of self identity as being "nice" and "respectable." This comes from generations of subversion, by verminous filth like William Cuckley, err Buckley, who's insidious expulsion of the actual conservatives on the right such as the John Bircher's etc was the gutting of the right's actual conservatism. Now the only thing "the right" wants to conserve is corporate profits ie their own cash stream and their Washington/NYC social standing, by sucking off the left's culture controlling media cabal.

Too much to lose if we fight the left? The right's "leaders" stand to lose their protected status as the approved whipping boy of the left. Anytime the left(ie the media) says anything nice about "a leader" of the right, you can assume that "leader" is a subversive cuck. The actual Americans have nothing to lose, these vermin want to humiliate and kill us, see our children raped, brainwashed and poisoned with dope...and they think it's funny.

They are the enemy. The only reason for any interest in what they want is to better defeat them. S/F....Ken M

so...

Is anyone else still wondering why this is news? One side of the political spectrum has championed the idea of letting the government run your business for over a hundred years.
...its the side that has people leading the party with names like warren, clinton, obama, kennedy, frank, sanders

Ray Charles could have seen this coming from a mile away - but it makes news.
You didnt build that, I feel your pain, what difference at this point does it make...
...its the peoples money and we just need to spread it around

Shit, I hope the democrats ride such a blue wave through the midterms that you cant even remember a single republican incumbents name.
Then I hope they start impeaching the chain of command until it is full of loyalists to the democratic socialist movement
Then I hope they start impeaching conservative judges
Then I hope they repeal and rewrite the first amendment
Then I hope they repeal the second
Then I hope they come for you
...yes you
you know who you are

Because you deserve the government that you are getting
Because not so long ago - this was all just "right wing conspiracy garbage"

Congratulations - you won

Honestly, at this point, I'm all for this crazy. Let's agree with commies for all the wrong reasons. Nationalize Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Google and the other commie converged globalist omnicorps. They're not American anyways. Make them utilities and install hardcore religious American types in there to start the Grand American Inquisition (GAI) purge. We can start a new TVA program with nuclear power plants so Vice President Pence has the electricity for his electro-stimulation gay conversion camps. They already established the precedent for seizing private business with the GM bailout; and it was sanctified by the SJW messiah. S/F...Ken M

How so?

Unless you are trying to buy a place to live in San Fran or Manhattan, 99.99% of American is pretty damned affordable, consumer goods are cheaper than ever, and food is cheap and plentiful.

So, by what factor has a generation lost its economic prosperity?
