I don't know anybody from that timeframe that was in 3/75, but I'm sure if you asked him what Company/Platoon he was in and the names of some of the NCOs in his platoon you could pass those names along to one of the one of the salty dudes here and see if he's BSing you.

As a plus, if he can't name anybody (especially his first TL), you can almost definitely call bullshit..

Says CSM Adam's was the Regiment daddy at the time. Says he did SOAR around that time.

Damn, he could have literally just looked on Wikipedia to get a correct name..

CSM Ponder 1994-1996
CSM Hall 1996-2000

Those are the CSMs of Regiment, maybe 3/75 had a CSM Hall, but I don't know. Was he a medic?

Thats a lot to do in 5 years. Only a couple compatible MOS’s between Rgr Bats and SOAR. Would assume he was enlisted. We did have several former 1/75 Rangers working for us in 3 Bn. During that time frame, but they were mid career types, who had to change units for promotion reasons. We took NONE who were sent down the road for bad reasons. They all went to 3ID.
