It wasn’t bad. Agree not as good as the first season. But I also watch it for what it is, entertainment. I try not to over think it. Maybe it’s because I’m simple minded.

Not a bad show, but not as good as the first season. I don’t think they could have possibly done a worse job portraying the character of a boat guy. Still waiting for the time when we find out he’s actually a rivron guy pretending to be SWCC.

Ok, episode 6 and it feels like a Telemundo soap opera.

I had it on as background noise in the office today. I haven’t got sucked into it. Interesting that Tom Clancy is listed as a executive producer even though he has been dirt napping for 6 years. Must be a term of the licensing deal that runs in perpetuity.

My opinion thus far is that it’s kind of like World War Z was: related to the book only by implication.

This is a totally separate story line using the character and not related to the book.

I am all in

woke up this a.m. around 2 and couldn't get back to sleep, and based on what have read here, I gave season one a look. I have been binge watching since then. Needless to say, I didn't get a lot of work done today.

Just have to concur with the general synopsis - worth watching, but not as good as season 1 - especially from a "gear" and TTP standpoint as far as patrolling in a jungle. It's like they wanted to make it look like it took place in 1995, LOL! Should have just followed Chef's advice from 'Apocalypse Now'...

Finished the season last night and I really hope they return to the preparation of the first season. This was a serious decline.

Spoilers:

From EOTechs mounted on top of carry handles to Boat Guy leaving the boat to walk up to the fence of the prison camp to Ryan taking the QRF to the Presidential Palace to rescue Greer who just happens to stab the guard in the neck at the exact moment the helicopter lands to the ........breathe....fvck it.....

I wished would have waited, and saved it for the next long international flight I had. Would be good viewing to pass the time on a 12-14 hour flight to Asia.

Why can't you guys just watch something and be entertained at the most basic level?

Because we are not as old school like you are, who can still watch 1980s action flicks and agree on the TTPs being used.

I wish that was the only obvious mistake that entire supposedly professional team made...

I'm going to tell myself that it was done on purpose to avoid revealing the real TTPs...but it's still not working.

As for the sights...I call it the "Strikeback syndrome" where actors never use the sights on their fucking weapons! The show Strikeback was shocking for that.

Spoiler:

Apparently the prez of VZ doesn't have an air force, or secret service with MANPADs on the roof

The second season felt rushed and they just slapped things together. I liked Mike November, don't know his real name, or Doug Stamper from House of Cards actor and think he could help the show.

Iím sure the Secret Service guys were out oppressing the public to keep them from voting. And didnít you know that Blackhawks are now extra extra stealthy. They have the radar signature of a European swallow (unladen) and you canít hear or see them when they pass over you at 100 feet AGL.

He was referring to the Venezuela Secret Service, not the US Secret Service.

You're just being defensive since it was you who taught them their patrolling techniques..
