My wife and our three kids at a USPSA match for the first time all together. The boys did great, but got in trouble because they were getting too excited about pasting more targets than anybody else.. It was a blast and they had a great time.

^ Reminds me of my younger son's first IPSC match.
Ya can't take it the matter TOO seriously, he was nine years old, and after each walk-through, the SO would install a stepstool for the high ports he obviously couldn't reach. He ran every stage.
We ALL had fun, that day!
Thanks for the memory.

Cool!!! They are 7,5, and 3.. So still a bit before I can get them shooting in a match. I was worried they would be bored, but it wasn't the case!

Getting ready for work this morning and having my wife come running up to me like an excited 12yr old saying "Schweitzer had 12" of snow last night wanna ditch work and shred?"

We did and it was awesome, plus I got to ski on my brand new volkl kendos.

Socnet.... when ever I read about a vet getting his weapons jacked or being fucked with by the VA. I know if I ever needed something or someone to talk to, Socnet is here.

Making chili in the morning and having the whole house smell like slow-cooking chili by 4 PM.

Now that it is -20 outside and wind chills of -40, it feels good to go into the basement, admire the three full cords of split stacked firewood, fire up the boiler, take some wood upstairs, build a fire in the fireplace, and enjoy a glass (or two) of some Irish medicine.

Worse cold/bronchitis I've had in a while. I actually started wheezing for awhile.

The pleasure is kicking it's ass.

Feels good getting back from my 12km walk along the beach, working on maintaining my tan and keeping my spare wheel down to a manageable size, in mid 30's degree Celsius heat. Vacation in Cape Town is great.

My youngest buying his first house.
By himself. For himself. Less than a Month after his 21st Birthday. No college degree. And no fancy job.
Just a good all-round home-schooled kid!

I'm over the top.

Did you get the deal to make the ice ball? I'm a single malt drinker and I'd like to know if this is better than the single cube I normally use.

Mrs. Claus got me a bottle of the 10yr Laphroaig for xmas.

Thanks
