I've long said that I preferred that the elector who represents a particular congressional district go to the winner of that district, with the two that represent the senators going to the winner of the popular vote in a particular state.

Direct election of Senators started the long slide down to mob rule.

Once this goes into "law" the Dem's will have a lock on the Presidency until the Republic falls. CA and the Northeast will produce all the votes required to insure that.

Of course that wouldn't be the case if more right leaning folks got off their ass and voted.

Had a primary just a few days back. Less than 11% of voters turned out.

Democrats are the equivalent of the kid we all grew up with who lived down the street and had all the sports equipment so the neighborhood could play together…. until he didn’t get his own way, then he would take his ball and go home ruining it for everybody.

Whats wrong with you Poles Paul85????
It isn't whats wrong with Poles, its what's wrong with Poles who are immigrants in another country. Poles form a minority in other countries, so they rely on unions, liberals, democrats, communists, etc. to protect them and give them more advantages in a society that isn't theirs.

In Poland, you'll be hard pressed to find a Pole who isn't fiercely nationalistic and votes conservatively. That's because they want to keep their country and way of life for them. Obviously voting conservatively in another country that is not yours would probably not be in your best interest, as it would be in the best interest of those who had traditionally held that country. So, when they're at home they vote for strong borders, security, and tight immigration laws; when they're enjoying whatever their host nation may be at the time they vote for weak borders, lax security, easier and more fruitful welfare and more relaxed immigration laws.

I still get heated thinking about all of the dual citizenship holders in office and who vote to influence our country for their own benefit or that of the country they have an actual allegiance too.

For Aristotle, democracy is possible only within homogeneous ethnic groups, while despots have always reigned over highly fragmented societies.

A multi-ethnic society is thus necessarily anti-democratic and chaotic, for it lacks philia, this profound, flesh-and-blood fraternity of citizens. Tyrants and despots divide and rule, they want the City divided by ethnic rivalries. The indispensable condition for ensuring a people's sovereignty accordingly resides in its unity. Ethnic chaos prevents all philia from developing."
I believe Connecticut leaders are showing their true colors, what the citizens of Connecticut do about it only time will tell. We all are to blame however, we see it happening. We know what's going on, yet we allow it to happen. Curious as to what will be the straw that breaks the back...

The more 'comfortable' people are, the more they will put up with. You think people in the 1880s would have sat around while their kids were taught about anal sex in the 3rd grade or how homosexuality was 'good' and all the other degerate stuff that being taught/pushed down our throats with pretty much zero effective resistance at all? Hell no they wouldn't have. And local LE wouldn't have stopped the lynch mob either (it's their kids too in that school). But we don't.

Like you said. It's all our faults for letting it go on. And it WILL go on, until it is stopped. In some cases physically. As much as we talk about "OMG shitlibs are ruining the world", we are just as much to blame for not stopping them. "Oh we tried!" is not an excuse.
