Too bad we all don't live near each other...we could have one hell of a SOCNET ride.

So today was the first day since Thanksgiving that I have not had to work at least 4 hours. Finished a farm project for HH6 and then I hit the road. I put in about 150 miles, stopped at 4 different gun stores, went to see my kid and brought home dinner. Its amazing how that slight vibration shakes out all of the stress. A Great day for a ride.

Since it was VE day yesterday, a fellow vet and myself took a 3 hour ride (each way) on our Harley's to pay respects at the American Grave site and Monument in Margraten, Netherlands.

Edit, I don't have permission here to upload pictures as attachments.

Riding every chance I get this week. Today, I came over a hill and some douchebag had littered the entire road with 1/2" of grass clippings. Off the throttle to slow and drive straight through it.

What rain gear do you guys wear?

Depends on what you need it for. Are you just looking for something to wear if you are caught unexpectedly in the rain? Frog Tog stuff works for that.

Are you looking for something to actually ride in the rain? I defer to Aerostich. They have some really spendy stuff ($1400) but that's mostly for year round long mile riders who go all day.

I have had the Darien two piece jacket and pants since 2006. Hold up well. Come with removable padding, too. You're going to be in it about a grand for jacket and pants, but like I said, I've had mine for 12 years, that's less than $100 bucks a year to stay dry.

Of course you could probably go through Frog Toggs for less than that, too. Depends really if you plan on riding in the rain or just need something in case you're caught.

Friend and I. His 2017 Road King Special and my Softail Slim S with the 110 SE. Was a great day to ride. We have cranked out a few good rides this past week here in Columbus.

I rode today and it was partly cloudy, so I bought some frog togs at Academy.

My weekend ride! This was en route to Jerusalem (back roads). I rode on asphalt - this was simply a safe place to stop for a few pics..

I just put on a Freedom Turnout exhaust. The owner came from Vance & Hines. Has a nice deep rumble and tuned with the Vance&Hines FP3, I have a nice map for my bike based on riding style.

Don't forget to wear gaiters when you're out doing your old-guy cruising. This photo from a couple of years ago just popped up in my FB feed again today. A Cape Cobra chilling on turn 4 of my local race track

Nice pic. Really like that blue tank.

Went to a brewery on mine on Friday night, then a local bike meet up on Saturday morning. There was a 1983 Guzzi, two new Californias, a 60s V7 and some other Guzzi model. Must have been Moto-Guzzi day, I should have ridden the Honda
