I liked the way they pushed the scrum all the way back to the Sox side, that's been the best thing I've seen all year from them.

Well, my team isn't involved in fights, benches clearing, pitching, hitting, or much of anything else.

I expected my Rangers to win 70-75 games this season, but they are awful with men getting men on base, and even worse getting them around. Couple that with an abysmal rotation full of nobodies and has beens, and I am in for a long summer of bad baseball.

There are glimmers of hope as I see some players mature, but as we all know offense wins games, but pitching and defense wins championships...the Rangers are badly missing on about one and a half of those.

Good, it's about time. Things have gotten too chummy over the past several years...

When Judge was in the center of that scrum, he made everyone around him look like a little leaguer. Also, Austin needs to work on his fist-a-cuffs a bit as he didn't connect on the initial rush to the mound. Finally, Boston's Kelly needed to be hit and hit hard! Just a few observations...go Yankees!!!

Posey ripped a nice RBI double in their 7-0 over the Padres. A 6-6 start to the season, but still better than the Fodgers

LOL. I know how you feel because I grew up watching my uncle (mom's brother), a Redsox fan from way back, being mercilessly tortured by my dad, Yankee fan. You Sox fans understandably revel in your games won, whereas Yankee fans have a different measuring stick, its called the number of World Series won.

Yu Darvish must be one of those warm weather pitchers, because he's looked like crap his first two games.

Hopefully he's not one of those free agents the Cubs wind up regretting they picked up. They've had too many of those over the years.

Wasn't Ohtani the guy a lot of teams were bidding for prior to the season?

Ha! Darvish was the pitcher that blew it for the Dodgers in the 1st inning of game 7 on the last WS. My wife and I collectively say “Bye Darvish” when ever someone screws up big time.

If Darvish can get back to his 2012/2013 form he'll be worth the cash. Out of his three starts this year he had one good one where he went 6 with 1 R / 1 ER. He pitched well for Texas, since then, not so much.

Cubs rallied from being down 10-2 to beat the Braves 14-10, thanks to a 9 run 8th inning. I can't recall when they recovered from a bigger deficit, but WGN reminded me: been 30 years since they came back from being down 9-0 to the Astros to win 10-9.

I couldn't believe it, but the Braves pitchers didn't help matters. They were on tilt through that whole 8th inning.

Finally getting to see my first game at Wrigley since they installed the video screen and made other improvements. Looking forward to it, although I doubt the seats I'll be in will come close to the last 3 times I went to see the Cubs.

Back then, I was right up on the wall along the 3rd base line, right near where the old bullpen used to be. That whole area has since been reconfigured, but those were great seats. Dangerous as hell when it came to rocket shot fouls hit toward the seats and broken bats, but we never had a problem.

Plus I get to see "The Professor", Kyle Hendricks, take the mound.

Didi is fucking killing it this season. He's proved himself to be more than a worthy successor to The Captain...
