Just curious if a donation will guarantee the Black Helo won't come down? :D I helped a little and want to thank those responsible for doing such a great job on this site!!

If it only worked that way...alas, we are judged daily on our merits, albeit with a just measure of consideration, depending on how certain the Black Chinook would have otherwise been given the go.

But since I have benefited from such judgments, without one cent having been donated before such instances...it is clearly professionalism, not bribery that rules the hearts of SocNet Admin.

So empty of your pockets what fortune allows into SocNet coffers with a clear conscience, and well in the knowledge that at least here, your reputation must be earned and cannot be purchased. What more worthy a cause in cyberspace, in all the world, could one hope to support?

(And to think I was just gonna type "bump.")

Not at all. No amount of money will guarantee that. I realize that you were joking, but it should still be said. NLN is right.

Hopefully it helps...

While my contribution isn't enough to fly to Thailand or any other silly purchase... I hope it is enough to keep this shack up and running.

I actually found this board on a Google search after a conversation with one of my old student's talking about "contracting."

Four years later, this was the "LEAST" I could do.

Thank you to all of the Mod's that police and provide guidance here, otherwise it would vastly degenerate.

Keep Safe Everyone..

Made my contribution. It should keep the black helo in the air for ten minutes or so. :D I've gotten a HELL of a lot out of this site, tons of info, been lent an Eotech by someone who's never met me, a bunch of Glock mags by someone else who's never met me, made some friends, and got an entry into a career that I love. Shelling out for Socnet is a no-brainer.

Same here, except Bearcat06 pointed me here from Real Police Forums. I joined in October '04, and had a job by December. AND met someone who had previously worked for the company. AND was able to get to know several of the guys I'd be working with... the list goes on.

BTW, if anyone is interested in simunition rounds, tac-gear, or any of Guy's other stuff not in use, please call at 1-800-GET U SOME. :D :D :D

Will contribute ASAP. Car is in the shop at the moment, so all available funds are kinda tied up. This site is most definitely worth it.
