She's 16 months and is topped out at 75 pounds. All of her sisters are 90+ and brothers are 115+. She's the runt, but is one hell of a sweetheart.

Beautiful coloring on her! Although she does look like she's about to tell you that you missed a spot

That's why he said "she's supervising".

Good looking pup B 2/75. Are you doing any training? Any good off leash?

Mr. Hank chilling out.

He had a slight fever and one of his lymph nodes is swollen up pretty large, so Vet has him on antibiotics.

CJ, she's had 4 months of Therapy Dog training, meaning only that she's good with having the old folks at the rest home hugging and squeezing her, and that she sits patiently without any fuss.

Leash was a problem for a while, but whenever she pulled on it, I'd stop and wait patiently without moving or saying anything until she turned around and made eye contact... then I'd start walking again. As soon as she started to pull again, repeat that stop. It took a week or two but now she stays within the length of the leash with no pulling at all.

Off-leash she'll run and play, but never more than about 50' away from me, and she'll come back should I call.

BUT... Ridgebacks are sight hunters... when she sees a squirrel or cat, she's off like a shot, and there's literally no recalling her from that run. She's grabbed one full grown rabbit and killed it, but didn't know what to do with it.

The cat, on the other hand, catches bunnies and eats them. Fookin' savage.

Killer-of-all-Squirrels

My female 8-year-old pit-lab mix, Skype. Wife came up with the name because the first time she met the pub was on Skype (geo-bachelor life). She is a master squirrel killer, especially the ones that sneak into dad's barn! This was her reaction when I asked her about her skill set.

We get him in mid-May.
I'd go with Warren or Zevon.

Never had a Ridgeback nor been around any so I don't have any experience with them. Sounds like you're enjoying this pup and that's cool!

Currently, working on the wife for another dog but she's not being very receptive because when we lost our last four-legged crew she took it pretty hard.

My two are on different ends of the age spectrum. One is closing in on 15 and the other will turn 1 in a week.

French Bulldogs are pretty cool, too. Or as some like to call them, Freedom Bulldogs.

I've occasionally mistaken one for the other, generally speaking the French Bulldog is broader in both the face and the body. They are linked genetically, although I guess you could say the same about all dogs.

The girl on the left has helped me through a lot. The girl on the right is now helping her deal with blindness and her advanced age.
