Craigs list or eBay? I currently have some money invested in the Local and national lottery. I will know after the weekend if this is something I can do.

Where’s the listing?

What a weird post...I just finished a Wes Oches book that had some scenario where soldiers in Iraq were selling a tank on Ebay...lol...who knew it was possible?

Be sure to buy a few extra Leyland motors! They were not very reliable.

From memory the Leyland engine was up to Mk 19 before the Chieftain was repaired. Additionally the 120 mm rifled barrel had to be replaced after 125 (?) rds, with the advent of the LRP which counted for 8 rds the barrel had to be changed out rather often. You had to take the turret off and pull the barrel out backwards !

Meh. Numerous German Leopards here, same price range, 105 main gun missing only the breech block. Optics and fire control computers still in the one in Belgium.

British stuff breaks down too much, as all the people who bought Ferrets discovered to their chagrin.

Try driving the infamous Pig from NI days with the kick down clutch, now that is a fucking riot, or not, depending on the day of the week !

Ha, awesome.

CAP: Anyone want a tank?
SOCNET1: Sure!
SOCNET2: No, that tank sucks. What you need is THIS tank!

Split from OP to first actual interest = sub 5h.
For a tank.

Next will be someone asking if it'll pull his wife's horse trailer.

Not much doubt about that, right? I mean, if you want to one up the guy with a huge motor home towing a Jeep or something....
