338 Lapua RSP.

Can I get some direction on RSPs for FTF 338 rounds? I don't have a bullet puller big enough.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, I'm missing what you're asking. If you're asking how to clear a gun that has a standard round stuck in the barrel, that's a question for a gun smith; I know what I would do, but that isn't necessarily what would be advised. If you're talking a Raufoss style round, precautions might need to be taken.

Hey jw, thanks for the reply.
Sorry for the vagueness, I have a few reloaded 338 Lapua rounds that need to be disposed of.
What is an acceptable manner in which to do so?
Thanks.

Just curious....Primer failures?

Betting if you ask around locally someone will have a puller to yank the bullets for you. Otherwise, throw them in the campfire and run like hell.

They make a tool that is like a little mallet. The round goes in and you smack it a few times and the bullet separates from the Chamber capturing everything. For the life of me I donít know what itís called.

It's called a Bullet Puller. That's what we were discussing above....LOL You should have been a Jarhead.

get a hornady collet puller with the proper insert. If you end up pulling a lot of bullets, it is a far superior method. It screws into your press like a standard die and is faster than using a hammer (kiinetic) puller and much less messy.
regards,

danny

If he was a jarhead, he'd know this. He'd have been caught by the company gunny reloading in the barracks, and been assigned extra duty loading ammo. S/G....Ken M
