50 cal sniper rifles

OK, lucked into some resources and looking to get a 50cal. I actually am in possession of a M82 Barret, unfired, but I'm looking to turn that into $ and get something more accurate and less "sproingy." As well as something a little shorter/lighter. I want a precision rifle, not an AMR. I have a Premier Reticle Loopie 16x Mk 4 I've been saving for something like this. Going to use Badger rings, had good results from the multiple sets I've got at present.

I'm looking at the Desert Tech HTI, any experience? Any other viable options? The AI AX50 has a shorter barrel and higher $, and availability seems marginal. And I'd rather not give my money to the dirty Limeys, so there's that too. S/F....Ken M

I actually ran a couple of classes for Desert Tech a few years ago and had a chance to play with the guns. The only problem I have with the bull pup configuration is it brings the muzzle/brake closer to your face by a good bit. Not a problem if you are running a muffler but without one the blast can be pretty gnarly.
