Soon to be 57 and still trying to keep it going. After having a good portion of my internal organs cut on and removed, along with my abs cut four ways to Sunday my problem is that I can't do a good ab workout but I do have Strawberry Mountains in my backyard so it's to the top three times a week when I can, and home work outs when I can't. Nothing beats straight up and straight down with a pack.

30 min walking at a brisk pace/55 min walking up stairs (it was up a hill, but I can't find a calorie example for that)/30 min walking at a moderate pace: 1030 calories

Bloody hell -- well, here's the fourth time I've started this, LOL.

Starting weight, 198lb. My goal is sub-190 by mid Aug. 1 balanced, freestyle handstand pushup by 30 Aug.

I'm using DSSRonin's hotel workouts regimen list as my WOD for this month. The difference is that where I have access to a gym, I'll plug gym stuff in there instead/in lieu of.

Today's exercise:

In lieu of 10 x pushups, situps, and squats - 10 rounds, I did;

100 manmakers w/7kg dumbbells (why 7kg? because 8kg was too heavy -- fuck off)/25 balance-ball sit-ups, 25 sit-ups with feet held, 25 crunches, and 25 situps without feet held: 359 calories
Elliptical machine 15 min: 202 calories

Today's food:
Breakfast (379 calories):
250g natural lite yoghurt
1 cup granola
1 cup coffee
2 tsp of Coffeemate hazelnut creamer
Lunch (631 calories):
2 tbl spoons Skippy creamy peanut butter
250ml chocolate milk
1 banana
2 baked skinless chicken thighs
Dinner (758 calories):
2 jumbo turkey hotdogs
2 Kraft American cheese slices

I was on a similar diet. It was a 1,500 calorie diet. I kept track of my intake on fitday.com. I lost 54lbs in four months five years ago doing this.
