A company I work with is looking for a full time Senior Software Developer in Orlando FL, salary and benefits will be very competitive. This is not a contingent upon award position. Our company provides modeling, simulation, and training solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to play a key role and join our team focused on developing effective training solutions. The position is located in Orlando, Florida.
The qualified applicant must possess a strong background in gaming/simulation and software development, including design, development, coding and unit testing of software modules. This will include design, development, coding, and unit testing of software modules which comprise a training system. Effort may include development of hardware interfaces, databases, and game controller interfaces. Software will be developed in C++ on Windows Platform. The applicant must have management experience.
Roles And Responsibilities:
• ▪ Develop Software For A Wide Range Of Simulation Content Types
•
o ▪ Aircraft Simulation
o ▪ Vehicle Simulation
o ▪ Marine / Ship Simulation
• ▪ Lead 3-5 Member Project Development Teams.
• ▪ Test And Fix Bugs.
• ▪ Balance And Prioritize Multiple Projects To Meet Goals, Deliverables And Deadlines.
• ▪ Learn SDK And Tools.
• ▪ Teach Others How To Use The SDK And Tools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, applicants must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• ▪ A Bachelor’s Degree Or Higher In Computer Science Or Related Technical Field And Minimum Of 10 Years Of Related Professional Experience.
• ▪ A Minimum 10 Years Of Development Experience Within The Microsoft Development Platform.
• ▪ Must Have Fluent C++ Development Skills And Experience Developing/Coding In Windows Environment.
• ▪ Capable Of Managing Small Teams.
• ▪ Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes To Include Object-Oriented Development.
• ▪ Travel Will Be Required.
• ▪ U.S. Citizenship Required. Current US Government Security Clearance Desired; At A Minimum Must Be Eligible To Receive A US Government Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• ▪ Experience With SCRUM Methodology A Plus.
• ▪ Experience With Object Oriented Architectures
• ▪ .Net, STL, And XML
• ▪ HLA/DIS Integration Experience Is A Plus
• ▪ Experience With C++ - An Advantage
• ▪ Prior Simulation Development Experience
• ▪ Able To Communicate Clearly With Current Customers And Potential Customers.
• ▪ Military Aviation, Department Of Defense (DoD), Or Commercial Aviation Background.
