I keep hearing "free speech" getting tossed around...

You cisgender.
So cisgender is just lucky you weren't born in a woman's body. Got it. Add that to the list of english words I won't use.

Cisgender is a word that applies to the vast majority of people, describing a person who is not transgender. If a doctor announces, “It's a girl!” in the delivery room based on the child's body and that baby grows up to identify as a woman, that person is cisgender.

I just recently learned what a Brony was, so that's why I had to use it. Too many gender-isms for me. I just feel safe with male and female.

Brony:

A name typically given to the male viewers/fans (whether they are straight, gay, bisexual, etc.) of the My Little Pony show or franchise. They typically do not give in to the hype that males aren't allowed to enjoy things that may be intended for females.

Other spellings: Bronie
Plural spellings: Bronies

Coming soon to a company near you...I'm sure it will apply to LBGTQ too

Williams leads Google’s unconscious bias training (yes, that’s a thing). More than 26,000 Google employees have gone through the training, she wrote in a New York Times op-ed last year. The training, Williams argued, "has created a culture where employees are comfortable with -- and held accountable for -- calling out prejudice, both blatant and subtle."
When you have to tell me that "yes, it's a thing", it makes me wonder if it's really a thing.

Emerson works with companies to improve dynamics in situations where gender roles come into play -- not just in meetings, but in hiring and performance reviews as well. She said that one solution to the problem is to have a strong meeting leader or panel moderator who can rein in the interrupters and ask the quiet participants to speak up.

“Diversity trainings aren’t effective,” Emerson said. “You have to change processes.”

What happened at SXSW is a start. “Call it out when you see it happening. That’s a good first step," she said.

That's just the only way to get a word in edgewise when women won't shut up.

Claremont Institute article about the inability to sustain "affirmative action" as Caucasian population diminishes. It warns against a future where most voters of particular races also align with particular political parties. What I like about the article is that it actually provides analysis and not a political agenda.

Look just because people are forced to hire them doesn't mean that they actually know anything or need to be listened to.

Just sit there and fill the quota.

Lightbulb Michelle Orders Feds to Weigh Children in Daycare

What could possibly go wrong? The feds monitoring our kids in daycare? Pretty soon FLOTUS will have Feds show up at your door to ensure proper nutritional guidelines.

Feds to Weigh Children in Daycare

USDA collecting data for study mandated by Michelle Obama’s healthy eating law

http://freebeacon.com/issues/feds-to...en-in-daycare/

Bureaucrats from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will weigh and measure children in daycare as part of a study mandated by First Lady Michelle Obama’s Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act.

The agency published a notice in the Federal Register on Friday proposing data collection on what meals are served in professional and home daycare facilities and how much physical activity children perform.

Aside from assessing how healthy the food in daycare is, the USDA will also check the weight and height of roughly 3,000 children.

Rest of story at above link.

I understand the concern about unhealthy eating habits, and how it has an impact on everyone else, but its really not the governments business to get invovled with.

Shortly after this study is done, someone will realize it will be profitable to fine parents for having overweight children.

I couldn't find any mention of an authority to measure the weights of children authorized by the law.
I would think that parents could object and tell the USDA, the State, County, City to pound sand.

Don't know if you got the memo, but laws do NOT apply to this POTUS and his administration. There have been numerous actions that the government has done recently that don't have a legal basis..............

I don't disagree.
I guess I was just stating the obvious for lack of anything better to say.

Unfortunately, most elected and unelected government leaders (including the current first lady and our next president Hillary Clinton) believe it is the government's business. So no matter how much we want to believe it isn't their business, things like this will continue to happen.

University Offering Course On How “Extremist” Ted Cruz And GOP Are....

Liberal bias in academia? Nah, that’s just a crazy right-wing myth.

http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=6384

Prof: Ted Cruz and Republicans are resurrecting 'discrimination'

"Politics of the 1960s to Now" is a class taught by Prof. Chris Hamilton, a two-time Fulbright Scholar at Washburn University.

According to a student, Prof. Hamilton's course claims that Ted Cruz, and Ron Paul are part of 'less violent but extremist right political movements'

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and the Republican Party represent “extremist” political movements hell-bent on rescinding civil rights protections for minority groups, according to a course curriculum assigned to students at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

The course, Politics of the 1960s to Now, is taught by Chris Hamilton, a professor of political science and a two-time Fulbright Scholar.

As only one part of the ultra-right goals, these movements seek to weaken or reverse key parts of all Civil Rights Laws, & weaken or even abolish the national government[.]

The course curriculum, obtained exclusively by Campus Reform, declares that Republicans are resurrecting “discrimination” and the “political battle over the Civil Rights laws,” and concludes that “racism” and “bigotries” in society are part of “ultra right [sic] politics.”

I guess it doesn't matter anymore that Fulbright was an unrepentant racist.

Modern Dems/Libs/Leftists/Socialists are ignorant of history and their part in fomenting racism in America. Bill Clinton bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom Award on Sen. (Democrat) Fulbright. Fulbright was one of 19 senators who issued a statement titled, "The Southern Manifesto," condemning the 1954 Supreme Court decision of Brown vs. Board of Education and defending segregation.

Angry School under fire for transgender kindergarten lesson

Talk about mind-control/cementing agendas at a young age, the Libs/Dems/Left are starting with Kindergarten kids now:

School under fire for transgender kindergarten lesson

KITTERY, Maine – Officials at Mitchell Primary School are apologizing after a book about a transgender child was read to most of the school’s K-3 students.

“We have a practice of if a topic is considered sensitive, parents should be informed,” superintendent Allyn Hutton told SeaCoastOnline.com.

“In this situation, that didn’t happen. The whole culture at Mitchell School is about teaching tolerance and respect. The people presenting the lesson thought (the book) was one more piece of teaching that lesson.

“In retrospect, we understand that toleration is tolerating people of all opinions,” Hutton said.

Angry No Cookies For You!

FLOTUS would be so proud of her propaganda (Food Faschism) taking root in the Denver area. Seems that the schools are "food" monitors of the kids now.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/04/29...ds-note-about/

Denver-area school won't let child eat cookies in lunchbox, sends note about healthy options

AURORA, Colo. – A suburban Denver 4-year-old came home from school disappointed, with untouched Oreos and a note from her teacher.

Denver news station KMGH-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1P6770A ) that preschooler Natalee Pearson told her mom Friday that she wasn't allowed to eat the cookies in her lunchbox.

The note told parents to pack a nutritious lunch that includes a fruit, vegetable and healthy snack.

Natalee's mother, Leeza Pearson, says she doesn't agree with the decision by the Children's Academy in Aurora.

She says Natalie also had a sandwich and cheese and that the school took things too far.

A spokeswoman with Aurora Public Schools says they gave Natalee a healthy alternative to the cookies.

Pearson says Natalee attends the private Children's Academy as a public school student under the state's preschool option program.
