G'day ... a Bucket and bragging about it?

There are few of us here; so mind the joining instruction and enjoy.

You may find it hard getting into the PSC world at this late stage but the resources are here if you're serious.

Cheers,

Hi, thanks for having me in this forum. No special military record, currently working in Europe, as a civilian in the NATO AWACS DLM program. Interested in military history, especially aviation and special operations.

Newbie

Hello, appreciate you having me on the forum.

Did an 8 year stint with the Marine Corps Infantry and Marine Security Guard. Got out and did the contracting gig for about 7 years before coming home for good. Now I work for my local County Sheriff's Office.

Thanks again!

Cool careers you and your family have had. Can you expound upon your post? I think it's cool.

Reading your about me you stated that you were in a Vice/street crimes "type" unit. Simply badass. What was that like? Did the Vice/street crimes type unit have a name?

It was named the mobile enforcement team. Basically we deployed to high crime areas "to address quality of life issues" which translates to illegal narcotics investigations, prostitution ops, and providing support for drug unit ops. Often pulled to assist with search warrant executions. Alot of times we would develop operations plans and conduct vehicle and pedestrian take downs.

Greetings,
I'm not a military man but know of some past served and currently serving. I've had relatives in the navy and army. My grandfather retired as a chief and my cousin is currently enlisted army. Military runs in some of the family but never was my interest. Thank you for your service, though!

Well i know very little about the military but I'm just a civilian. Between work and home, I enjoy spending time either at the range, doing auto repair work with my step father or anything outside.

If you reload, there is a good, on-going post in the weapons section.

Welcome.
