Since I can’t edit my last post, I’ll quote it...watching my son’s team win the Far East Soccer tournament on Okinawa, then seeing him named Golden Boot (most goals), and tournament MVP. It’ll be hard for me to be any more proud of the kid, but I’m sure he’ll figure out a way to do it.

My son's band in Tampa getting ready to sign a few movie deals for their songs. They are already licensed with a Netflix series but right now can't say more about the other deals until official. Pretty damn exciting.....

LMAO at a good friend of mine who got stung in the chest by wasps while mowing his lawn, and then cried like a little girl.

My oldest is graduating today. I think I am more nervous than she is.

Seeing my oldest grandchild graduate from high school while my youngest grandchild plays in the orchestra during the ceremony.

Intending on a solitary break-of-dawn visit to the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery yesterday, and instead meeting a couple, had to be in their 80s, who each had a sibling resting there.

We stood in the dew burning off while they told childhood stories and tidied their respective markers.
Made me really slow down and appreciate the morning.
