Fran as rx'd in 8:36
Pretty excited about time considering the recovery time for my injury. Didn't gas, just strength. Have not been able to put my arm in the position for pressing in almost 4 months now. First shot at that many pull ups since the surgery. A little tight in the bicep/forearm but no big deal.

Ask Velandra when the next time he's coming down to CFW. You should make the trip with him. We've got quite a few guys going back over Iraq/Afghanistan here in the next week, but there will be plenty of monsters still around. If you make it down, let me know so I can head over there.

Are any of your affiliates taking part in the Fight Gone Bad III? The affiliate I attend (Crossfit Blacksburg/ Foley Performance) started 3 days ago and already I have reached my modest fundraising goal of $200. This should be a smoker, but it is for a good cause (Prostate Cancer Research and the Wounded Warrior Project).

Here is the link if anyone is interested:

I'm not sure. I'll have to bring this up at the ASYMCA Mud Run Saturday. Anyone else doing that this year?

Well, it took me for fookin EvAr, but I finally got it. All that pullup advice finally clicked together in an epiffany.

Thanks guys!

I still can't do a whole lot in a row, but got something solid to work with now.

And I finally did Fran 100% as perscribed at the cert yesterday.

For Scott's 32nd B-day-

32 DLs (225lbs)
32 Strict Press (115lbs)
32 Weighted Chins (25lbs)
32 Wall Ball (20lbs)
32 Knee to Elbows

Time- 19:31 (had some knee bend on the last half of pressing)

Comments:

Didn't push myself very hard cardio wise. I'm not a fan at all of high rep DLs so I ended up reseting between every rep or so. Took my time with them. Better safe than sorry. The OH Pressing was alright. I tried not to Push Press any but I'm sure a handful were that way. The weighted chins were easy and the last two exercises went quick. Not a blazing time by any means but not too terribley bad.

Friday's Workout:
