Nephew broke tie rod on Grandma's lawnmower, kid drives too fast, and I don't have enough chores. I broke a blade on my Amish weedeater cutting Bullthistle, a first for me as I have been using one since 6th grade.

I have never used that type before. I like the wooden curved snath models that sell for $150 or so....they have the best handgrips and the weight helps. I have been using the ones with the curved aluminum snath for the last several years ( the wooden grips are too small for me but I am going to rectify that). Long blade for grasses and weeds , short blades for heavier weeds and brush. The ones I used growing up working for Old Lady Bieker had adjustable hand grips for your wingspan. The ones I buy now are fixed. I know some Amish and Mennonite craftsmen build their own.

Apparently the snaths on that site come in two lengths. One for us shorties and then one for the rest of you. Where did you get your snath? I can get decent blades, but the snath is a different story. The guy that did a review on the different places that offer them recommended the place I linked because they source theirs from the Amish.

I honestly just ordered them from a Walmart online site, there are some on Amazon too. (Seymour S500 industrial snaths and blades) I liked the type you are referring to, European models, I think. I just went with the cheapos , online. There is an Amish Walmart about 30 miles from here, I should check there. They buy shit from Walmart and then resell it in their country store!

Regardless, just curious. Really sucks.

No sir, regular visa attached to my biz account. These card scan readers are getting more sophisticated. Im also getting a lined wallet. Bank gal told me they can somehow scan the damn things when they walk by your ass end and pick up info from the card. Who knew??

I got hit someone was doing auto withdraw from my bank account every month, you don't notice it when it is only $26.39.

The reason I caught it was I use my ATM card at the bank an also printed a copy of my last 10 transactions. I know the manager so I asked her to check it out. I got six months of the money back. that all they could do. I will say that the individual that was doing it work for a Rental Car company. No Longer

Things I hate -

Getting a call at 7 am today from my brother informing me our youngest brother passed away unexpectedly last nite. He was out drinking with friends, came home, went to bed, and never woke up. His wife tried to wake him, no response, called 911, but he was gone. We suspect a heart attack in his sleep.

He was the rebel, always bucking the system, but he joined the Navy, started from basic and worked his way up to nuclear qualification, then went to work at Norfolk for a civilian contractor and was one of the guys who basically turned on the reactor for newly commissioned ships & boats and turned them off when nuclear ships & boats were decommissioned. Recently retired, he was 60 years old.

Never thought he would be the first of us to check out.

RIP, bro.
