Thumbs up "Evil Genius" on Netflix

Showing now, this is a riveting 4-part documentary series about the infamous 2003 collar-bomb bank robbery caper in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completely maniacal cast of characters and proof-positive that you truly can't make this kind of shit up...

This is advertised as leading up to a confession by the hooker... Is anything new actually revealed or is more a detailed summary of events?

I guess that would depend on how closely one followed the proceedings before now. Personally-speaking, I remembered when it happened but was hazy about the final outcome(s) so a lot of the info was new to me. That being said, in my opinion it was a good watch but YMMV...

Just finished it. The hooker states that she duped the victim into participating.

Touché although I'm sure more than one person on this board has seen that type of transformation before they came to their senses.

"We're going to be very respectful dude but sorry dead guy, we have to decapitate you."

This story was crazy. I think the biggest takeaway for me was the local, state and federal LEO's not sharing good info obtained from the parallel pizza/freezer investigations.

Just finished it. I distinctly remember this happening, but had no idea of all this happening after the fact.

I watched the first episode this afternoon and ended up binging it. I remember when the heist happened, but not all of the aftermath. I can’t believe they decapitated the victim to get the collar off. I can definitely understand his family being pissed about that.

I'm on the 3rd episode now. I was in AIT when this went down and I remember hearing a little about it but not knowing everything that happened.

Can't wait to finish this one. Incredible story!!

I felt like I was watching a Cohen brothers movie. Could easily have been the next season of Fargo. Remind me to stay the fuck out of Eerie, PA.

Erie PA probably has 3 murders a year?? Maybe, I'm not searching it but anyhow, 1 frozen murder victim around the time of the big heist close to the site of the crime: BELLS SHOULD BE RINGING!!!

It usually happened to me the next morning when I woke up with a hangover and wondered WTF was in bed with me thinking she was hot when we were at the party.

Winter is here again oh Lord,
Haven't been home in a year or more
I hope she holds on a little longer
Sent a letter on a long summer day
Made of silver, not of clay
I've been runnin' down this dusty road

I've been trying to make it home
Got to make it before too long
I can't take this very much longer
I'm stranded in the sleet and rain
Don't think I'm ever gonna make it home again.
