French officer shows real grit during hostage situation

Some will say "he was doing what he was trained to do". Not sure how many would step up like this man did. It's wiring that makes guys like this.

IMO, much like waiting on the school shooter to finish, you do what you know is right and let the chips fall where they may.

It's ironic that the French, whom we dump on with fervor, produced this man.....and in the case of the school shooting recently, our American cop was a coward.
