Current boat gun is a SOCOM 16.

Yeah, if my boat hadn't have sank taking all my guns down to Davey Jones, I might have advocated for an AR pistol (SBR length without risking losing a Tax Stamp) in 5.56 and several mags.

The truck gun idea, "cheap, banged up, stolen" is ok, but really what I want is an accurate, semi auto platform, with a red dot and white light. So.. my AR pistol. However, it goes and/or stays as needed.

Has anyone used the Copper Basin gun backpack? pro/cons, alternatives? I like how it can be used to attach to a seatback. S/F...Ken M

Someone needs to invent a gun lifejacket.

KelTec made a move at this year’s show:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=abiz_y...e_continue=114

It sounds like they’ve decided to take a simple rifle and turn it into something entirely more complicated. Not only does it fold it also twists. If twisted before forgive me for not figuring that out.

I found one at the gun shop for <$400.

Alrighty then. It was a problem on the older models that you couldn't put an optic on them and fold em up. I run all three of mine with the stock iron sights and they're adequate for what I want from the platform.

My Saab gun.. whatever pistol I have chosen to carry that day, maybe my M4,
if I'm going to the range that particular day. I've thought about a dedicated
vehicle firearm(kel-tec), but haven't pulled that trigger, yet.

That was what I understood from the video I posted.

If I get your way, I might ask if l can shoot it. If not I just might buy it and sell it back if I don’t like it.

I’m not looking for optics or do dads or widgets or Hoojies
to put on that weapon.

Some love them, some hate them. I've had good luck with all three of mine. I've got dedicated guns in all three vehicles for less than 1k.
