Another Entebbe Raid movie

One of my favorite military special operations to study.

Can't wait to see it.

Looks awesome, even though Rotten Tomatoes is only giving it a measly 17% rating.

Fuck that, for me it's a must-see...

Sayeret Matkal in action. cool.
the current Israel prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was a member. His brother who was the CO was the only casualty on the ground.

A couple of things I remember, was few things while they were making the movie. The one part when the Jeep didn't start an I for got who said it push it off. What happened was the jeep driver was trying to start it but for got to turn on the switch.

We would drive off the ramps in a normal speed for the ramps. Well the director didn't like that he wanted more speed.
Well we came off the C-130 rams flying, talk about the load master getting pissed off It seems just like yesterday that it was made.

Looks good.

I was in Entebbe when Clinton took his first trip to Africa. I took along Raid On Entebbe for a little battlefield study. Surprisingly, the Ugandan military said nothing about me walking around the parking ramp, book in hand, trying to figure out exactly where everything took place. It was pretty cool to see the smashed up MIGs and Air France plane. I also pried a 7.62 round out of the wall of the old terminal.

We need to make sure you donít go see the Chinese Soldier exhibit, in PA. Too many fingers for someone like you! ; )í

IIRC, I was home for a long weekend (4 July,1976), and had just attended a hell of an air show at Langley AFB (the brand new A-10 was the star of the show) when I heard the news. What a wonderful bi-centennial present.

Stockton CA Airport was the airport they used for the Ugandan Airport.

The aircraft and landing zone was secured by Sayeret Golani and Sayeret Tzanhanim (Airborne/Paras), while Matkal led the rescue. All cool :)

If you've seen Gone Girl, it makes sense.

His brother was the only Israeli Commando killed in the raid.
