Russian drone blows up ammunition dump in Ukraine

A Russian drone carrying a thermite grenade infiltrated an ammunition dump in Ukraine, setting off an explosion that caused an astounding billion dollars worth of damage.

Check out the damage in the video. Holy cow.

Multiple sources of ignition several kilometers apart.
A remarkable attack, but no "thermite grenade from a drone."

More likely a lucky hit. It doesn't take much to get a ammo dump to go up.

No doubt; sadly remember watching some fireworks coming from FOB Falcon in 2006...

Watched that from VBC! Can't believe nobody died. But I seem to remember it being later.

To remember, and then go back to the ledgers and the commuter train, that was impossible. He knew he would eat his heart out if it ever came to that."

Could rockets at one location inside the ammunition storage facility have done that?

VBC!; how that place changed from the first week of April 03. In 2006 it looked like a giant military refugee camp I was a bit closer and pretty sure it was summer 2006; can't swear to the month, but I think it was after a particularly nasty dust storm, and just before Zarqawi's "goat clamping" days were put to an end; as Gavin would put it...
