Wow. That would be a great one. Lost my mom in 2010. Would love to hear her voice........

Hold on to that one

Thank you! To say it was an unpleasant experience to sit in a class room with dozens of 20-something kids for 3-hours while listening to a professor drone on about secured transactions or tax law, is a slight understatement!

That being said, I'm proud of the accomplishment and now just focused on balancing work, family, and my studies for the upcoming exams.

Congrats cj! I sympathize with you because I did it myself at 35.

I think you will have an advantage since your life experience will give you a lot more common sense and better judgment than your average 25 year old who did 4 years of college and 3 years of law school. God knows the legal profession needs it.

Good luck on the bar. I remember a saying that went: The Bar Exam is like a ditch that is 1 foot across and 1 mile deep. You can make it will a little bit of effort, but be sure to expend that effort because you sure as hell don't want to fall in!

Congrats! Has anyone taught you the secret handshake yet? You shake the other person's hand really hard so they don't notice your left hand reaching into their pocket.

I cannot imagine anything more boring than property law. It was the only class I ever regularly skipped.

Packing up my trusty .243 700 and searching for some Blacktails in the Ice House area of El Dorado county.

It's an amazing region.

The friggin' dogs.
Screwed up last shopping trip and got NON-iced oatmeal cookies (I know...shut up), go to feed the pack a snack before bed and get three "WTF is this!?" expressions.
Two wouldn't even take a piece; the lab grabs his, promptly drops it but seeing no alternative concedes to eat it. V-e-r-y reluctantly.

Friggin' dogs. I'm still laughing about it.
