We had XM-177's issued to us on the dive teams. The shorter overall length made it less of a hassle doing lock-outs on subs. We tried Uzis once, and immediately went back to the XMs.

So tempted, so tempted.

Sigh.....so many firearms on my short list, but very limited funds. Have to sell some current ones, to buy others.

My short list:

The Xm177E2 in this thread.
40 year anniversary Steyr AUG
Steyr Scout Rifle
Steyr C9-A1 9mm
Glock 20 Gen 4
Glock 30 Gen 4
Henry 45-70 lever action
Henry 30-30 lever action

BTW, I take donations if any uber rich members are reading this and want to support this poor veteran.

So support me, go fund me. I need money for a new Jeep, gear and guns to put into the Jeep, and money to take on a few more adventures. Uncle Sam issued me some cool gear and sent me on many adventures, now it is your turn to send me on some adventures with some cool gear. Thanks.

Honestly, giving your geographical location, have you though about selling drugs to support your gun habit?

You will probably take a loss selling it at this time.

Do you use the FNH to teach or is it collecting dust? Do you plan to really run the Troy?

Yeah, use the FNH to teach. Just had someone use it for a class Thursday. But, could do the same with the Xm177E2. But, yeah, hard to sell an AR these days, and if do, probably lose a couple of hundred. I would probably personally shoot the Troy though more.

There are several points wrong with your post, unfortunately since I can't read any of it when I reply, I can't really tell you.

Not yet. Have someone interested, I just took on a shooting course, in wanting to buy my FN-15. If they buy it I will then have the funds to buy the Troy Xm177E2.

And just paid for, and have coming later this week the 40th Year Anniversary Steyr AUG. Been waiting on that one for a year and a half since they announced it, and now they are finally here. But, that did set me back considerably financially. What was that brand of cat food you recommend again?

LP, you might be able to slowly build one a bit over time for less money than this one. Might have to sacrifice the bakelite pistol grip and a few other minor things but most of the parts are out there and the AR market is a freaking fire sale going on now.
