Maybe, Im not too sure than anything will pass though. We really need our Senators and Reps to vote against anything the dems throw their way.

Hell, I can do that without a bump stock. I can teach you for a small fee.

No joke! I like being at the range and hearing the range warriors talking about their wanting to have a bump stock because it's so cool to have something "automatic." Then...they gripe about the costs of rounds...go figure.

There could be texts written on the fear psychology that drives sales of such items.

"I don't want it, and will never use it"

'It might be banned forever'

"I'll take 3"

This happened with AR style rifles as well in the Obama years. We had people coming in and paying $1200 for rifles that sell for under $500 today. Only because they didn't want to be told they cannot have it. Now they need gas for their car and they get offered $300 in trade.

The same thing happens with magazines during the threatening times to do away with "High Capacity" magazines.

If anyone has a mini-14 you can use a couple of Staples to get burst fire.

I'm surprised ATF hasn't shutdown NAPA and Staples for selling NFA items.

What get me is that OBAMA is the one that approved for ATF to allow the Bump Stock

Hell all you need is a paper clip to make some fire full auto, we use to do that to the AR15 when it first came out, you only had fire or safety.

NRA just announced that they are calling for an ATF review into the legality of the Bump Stock.

You can forget about that hearing protection bill for awhile, no politician wants to vote on that one right now.

Yup...like stated on the 'Vegas Shooter' thread--some things are gonna change, for how long...that's the real question.

I was shooting a nice 6.5" 5.56 pistol the other day, and found it was readily bump firing when it was cradled on the shooting hand forearm. 6 - 8 round bursts, fairly controllable, too. No pricey novelty stock, no rubber bands.

I agree with gsniper that this stupid gadget he utilized led to uncontrollable gunfire for this pos. I suspect they're going to find rounds buried over a large area as they are already finding hits on the jet fuel tank stores which were quite a ways off.

As others have said, if he just fired controlled rapid fire shots into the crowd, many more deaths and injuries would have occurred.

I sent them an email letting them know my membership will be getting cancelled if they dont reverse their stance. A lot of people on facebook have posted that they have supposedly already cancelled memberships. They really screwed up trying to use their membership numbers to support their push for gun control.

Why would they throw the other side a bone, or shoot a hostage? They stand to lose a lot from this but gain nothing. You guys know as well as everyone else that the only reason they are going after bump stocks is because it gets an emotional response. It wont stop there, it just gives them momentum. They need to stay firm and let the left know that they are wasting their time.

I am not a proponent of knee-jerk laws. They are usually poorly designed, written, and executed.
