Very cool. A buddy of mine was one of the CAAT platoon commanders in Najaf, and my BIL was the arty battery CO for the BLT. I was always impressed by the esprit of the west coast victor units. It just seems like there is much more active involvement from their veterans, including recent vets, than I've seen with east coast victor units.

My last day at Horno I figured I'd take a quick trip up to the crosses for an hour or two as a farewell. I ended up ranging all over Microwave for about 4 hours. It's a bitch getting up there, but it's worth it once you get up top.
