Sleepwalking

About 3 months ago I starting sleepwalking. This started with me taking a new medication, Zyprexa. I need to be on this med as it is the only thing that lets me sleep.

Has anyone had to deal with this? Right now I am looking at a hanging doorknob alarm.

This is to the point where I need to get it managed.

Thanks all.

Just did a quick search and this looks like a good option. Gets you right when you get out of bed.

Talk with your doc.

There's numerous meds that cover conditions Zyprexa is prescribed for.

"Titrating" for these conditions is often more the med used, than the
dosage. Your doc may have explained that finding the med that gives YOU
the best effects/least undesireable effects may entail trialing a half dozen,
and how long it typically takes a med to build it's therapeutic effects in
your system.

It's just one of those "may take a while" situations.

Assuming you're familiar with the "do not stop taking without consulting
with doc" warnings...

My youngest son is awful at that. Glad he never joined the Navy. He'd walk off the deck of an A/C carrier and I would get an official "lost at sea" call.

He takes NO meds and has always done it. He cusses like a Sailor during this time as well.

Hope you find a solution! IS this going to be a problem say...October?

I have made some changes and it did not happen last night. So, so far so good. Should be just fine soon enough. No night hunting come October. Lol
