I like a bigger watch, easier to see numbers. I prefer a simple dial as I get older.

As much as I love Omegas (I've gotten my esposa two of them, and continue hunting for a decent pie pan Constellation for myself) for less money I'd go with the Jaeger dive watch...

Has anybody here ever worn a Bell & Ross watch?

A little pricey, but they look pretty durable.

Does anyone have any experience with IWC? I found a model called the Mark XVIII today. I love the clean pilot style dial. I've heard good things, but would love to hear some input from someone who owns one.

Despite all the mixed reviews, I bought a cheap Luminox. Got a good deal for $140. It has the tritium tubes.

My G-Shock has started to eat batteries, killing one every 7 or 8 months....and I wanted to try something different.

Needed a good, cheap weekend watch...something that can go into the water....about the toughest thing it will see it Jet-Skiing.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Yes, I have owned several IWC watches. Currently have Ingenieur Mission Earth. Great watches, good quality, good company.

That is a nice watch.

Was looking at a Bernhardt Globemaster II or an Ocean 7 dive watch. They decent for their price point?

Thanks, they get good reviews and look simple and tough.

I'm seeing ads for another new watch company started by a couple of young guys called MVMT and the reviews on the web are all over the map.

Strange as it may seem, I've always had pretty good luck with Timex, and they generally keep pretty good time. Nice thing about them is they are cheap enough that when they eventually do wear out you can just pick up another cheap.

I've been wanting a Hamilton for a while and finally settled on this guy. My first hand-wind mechanical. Very pleased so far!

Can get much better watches for MVMTs price point by going elsewhere. Seiko comes to mind or Orient.
