RIP Jason Huber

I don’t post often but I am heart broken over the untimely death of Jason Huber. He fought cancer long enough to see the birth of his baby boy. If you were at his funeral yesterday in Mandeville, you know how special he was. His wife Ashley fought along side him until the very last minute and I am in awe of her strength and gracious compassion.

As my husband and I were pulling out of the church parking lot, we passed a group of his teammates who had the tailgate of a truck down and beer, whiskey and cigarettes were being consumed. I so appreciated seeing them pay their respect and celebrate his life and friendship.

Sleep sweet, Jason.
