Three Sips Of Gin
Halfway thru it, easy read, growing up in Africa as a youngster, leaving, coming back at 18 and joining the RLI and becoming a SELOUS scout.

I was just looking at this and the Bush War of Rhodesia on Amazon today. Have you read the Croukamp one? Preference?

Have you read Fuller’s earlier book, ‘Don’t Let’s Go Out To The Dogs Tonight’?

Thanks. Looks like I'm going to have to get a Kindle with the prices on the physical books.

Ordered, as well as the other books mentioned. Thanks for those titles.
I'm always looking for good, hard copy books to put on my shelf downstairs in the mancave. My 2 oldest kids are constantly sneaking "dad's" books and reading them. Most of this would be above their heads but hey, I'd rather guide them in the direction of men that lived by a code of honor and values than let them read some of the dumb shit published these days. If you guys have any paperbacks (or hardbacks) just laying around that you want to get rid of, let me know. |
