Jeez, just seeing this - I couldn't imagine the stress and your wife. Glad he's responding well. Praying for your family.

That is very kind, and caring of you to ask. Truthfully, money is the last thing we are in need of at the moment. I wish it were something that could be resolved that simply. My wife has a great job as an RN with fantastic benefits that cover all of his needs so far, which hopefully will continue as the future progresses.

Our travel back and forth to Nemours in Orlando, to include lodging, and meals are covered by the clinical trial he is a part of so we have nothing to get concerned over. I will say, since we had to drive this past trip for his dosing of the AVXS-101 gene, due to him needing to not have contact with the public and being on a plane would have been germs galore, I should have set up a gofundme page for the damn tolls I had once I got to Orlando. That is some crazy shit right there. I bet I paid $30 plus dollars this past trip alone.

Once again, thank you.

Aleksander was discharged Monday morning, and we got back home late yesterday afternoon. We turn around and go back next Monday-Wednesday for his weekly check-ups with the Doctor.

Other than some cranky attitude due to all the leads, and I.Vs attached while an inpatient, everything went quite smoothly. He has a louder cry, and bigger appetite. He looks differently than before so says my wife. That I am not too sure about. He does however have twice the leg and hip movement. Something is going on for sure. I feel very fortunate he was allowed to receive this therapy.
