Avalanche at Taos. One critical and one passed.
RIP to the skier who passed. Prayers for recovery of other.

The area of that run is steep by any measure of the word. Looking down at the rocks and cliffs from the top was enough to convince me to turn back to the "normal runs". (picture of the search line in article)

"The first skier was located, via probing, within approximately 15 minutes, and was reported to be under about six feet of snow. He was unconscious and received CPR at the site. The second skier was also located by a probe line after approximately 25 minutes, according to some witnesses. He was also unconscious and received CPR on location."
