Prayers out for a speedy recovery.

Before becoming bored with Live PD, there were some enlightening episodes about issues facing BP, like the coyotes on the other side of the river bank being well armed and wouldn't hesitate to shoot.

BP Agent has been released from the hospital. Now he gets to experience the joy of a multi-agency investigation.

...and hope you get shot dead center of your cell phone.

Nowadays too many LEO's chronicle their every thought and action via text and social media. Dark humor may be a way to cope with the hazards and frustrations of the job, but it is not appreciated by most non-LEO types.

My poorly written post was an attempt at humor and not meant to sound like it was personally directed at you, Whitebean54. I agree with what you wrote.

Given recent events (the USBP texting and AOC meme scandals) I intended to make the point that the guys involved in this incident will wish their cell phones had been destroyed by the time the investigations are over.

Obviously it just means agents need to invest in a drop phone.

Now days if you text or what ever on your phone an if certain words are in the message it will Triger a warning to be looked at what you wrote.

In Northern CA there are individual make that a lot of them that get PAID over $150,000.00 a year or more to put a flag (RED FLAG) on the message. I used the word red flag joking, I don't know how it is flagged, When a lot of messages are sent by one individual like I stated using certain words or phrase. that is when that I.P. address is tagged for review.

Now if it was me I would buy a couple of chips for my phone to change when needed.

I know one individual that works for a company that is all he/she does for 8 hrs a day.
