You're probably right especially after seeing the season finale tho I can't help wishing Quinn would go all Mitch Rapp on the CYAs, politicians and just plain traitors. Some folks need to have heart stacks, strokes, car wrecks & be victims of muggings (crime really is out of control ).

Wonder what they're gonna do next season? The above is too much to hope for though.

I watched the season premiere last night. It was worth seeing but not great, IMO.

It supposedly picks up two years after last seasons final episode.
I was a bit dissapointed they essentially ignored last seasons cliff hanger
and just showed how Quinn & Carrie have moved on.

Yeah it was so-so. At least Quinn is killing terrorists.

Seemed like writers concentrated only on dialog for main characters. Yeah, yeah, yeah now get on with it. I think it's not going to be a good season.

Best part was Quinn & the wannabe bomb maker.

If the first two episodes are an indicator of how the season will go, they may be heading towards getting cancelled.

If the first season started out this poorly, I doubt I would have watched a 3rd episode.

I just finished season 1 on digits, man it's entertaining! I'm in lust with Morena Baccaran. Started back when she was in Firefly.

Although I heard Brody's smoking wife is no longer part of it, so there's no rush.
She's now a regular on "Gotham" - still smoking.

Is this show still worth watching?

I'm about to dig in to season 5.

So far it's pretty slow... I might pull pitch unless I see a decent story start to develop...

I stopped watching it last season... unless someone convinces me that it has become awesome again, I have moved on

Season 5 was entertaining for a few different reasons. Might as well finish it, IMO.

The show overall had a lot of potential but I think would have been better as a mini-series focusing on Brody's reintegration than what it became.

I read a summary, it appears Carrie has become something of a bleeding heart.

Unless it's a clever cover, and she winds up dropping the hammer on somebody in the finale.

In the end, there's only so much time that can be devoted to any series. I decided against checking out Mr. Robot due to some of the reviews I read on Socnet.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy some of the BBC series that have come out over the last few years, including The Fall and Peaky Blinders. It's a lot easier to binge watch a 6 episode season than it is to digest a 12 or 13 episode run.

I like how it ties in current events and presents possible spins on them.

It was likely wary about becoming stale if sticking with one major plot line.

I'm not into this season of Homeland so far. However, I'm holding out for Quinn to get better (last episode he seemed a bit like his old self). Yeah Carrie is a bleeding heart so far but she IS crazy Carrie so maybe it will pick up. If not I'm done.

Season 7 has started and 1 episode is available now. I watched it last night and have mixed feelings about it. It will be focusing on the "deep state" this season according to some advertising I read. It starts out where last season left off, primarily dealing with the fallout and recovery from the incident/attack.

It was entertaining but if it was the 1st episode I had ever seen I'm not confident I would keep watching it. Plus it looks like we are going to have to live through yet another side story with an cantankerous teenager and her older love interest. Ugh! The Americans did the same thing for 3 seasons and it f'ing suck!

The dude that plays Jake Weber, the podcast commentator, bugs the shit out of me. Primarily because he sucks at masking his British accent. Why the hell do they use some many foreigners for these American characters? At least Rick Grimes (TWD) truly sounds American.

I'll give it a 7.
