Thumbs up Logan Lucky

Two thumbs up. Enjoyable heist movie with a bit of comedy and an all star cast. James Bond, Canning Tatum, Hillary Swank, Dwight Yokum, and USMC veteran Adam Driver.

Well worth the purchase price on Apple I tunes.

I saw it too. "Country Roads" and Daniel Craig were the best parts of the movie. Great story and not surprisingly a Steven Soderbergh film. I think a sequel will be in the works.

Yeah the ending with Hillary Swank kind of eluded to a sequel - which I hope will happen. Kind of like a "redneck" version of Oceans 11, of which the same director (Soderbergh) did a series of three.

Thought Daniel Craig did a good acting job, definately a different role for him.

Good movie, even thought Adam Driver was pretty good in it. And I can definitely see a sequel in the ending, probably along the lines of Swank's FBI character trying to corral them while they plan another heist and in the end coming up empty after thinking she had them nailed, the going back to various scenes at the end of the movie and showing how they were on to her the whole time and all of the manipulations they orchestrated to pull the rug out from under her.

Naturally, it will then set up the plot for Logan Lucky III, where her character takes on a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude and quits the FBI, while one of her former colleagues tries to nail her and the Logan clan once and for all.

Nice little cameo by Jesco White doing some flat foot dancing on top of the table in the prison cafeteria.
