You had to stay up late to watch it, but that AZ v Hawaii game was awesome. Came down to the last play.

Miami held their ground for along time. Then the O-line crumbled, and the QB showed that he is indeed a “true freshman”...fumble after fumble. I get that it’s the first game of the season, but c’mon guys. That’s what practice is for. I was surprised at UF’s lackluster performance.

Who won? I finally had to go to bed, as my Friday night was catching up to me.

Hawaii won. AZ had a chance to tie it at the end, but their QB, Tate, was tackled a yard away from the goal line.

I liked seeing Hawaii beat a Pac team. Even though they were 11 pt dogs, I still thought they'd at least cover. Hawaii is very good at home and they always seem to get some home cooking by the refs, especially in basketball.

Man if I were a Flat.State fan I'd be embarrassed. Cramping up playing at home against a team from Idaho?? They need a miracle to save face with 5 mins to go...

Alabama not looking like the number two team, playing a very middle of the conference Duke team.

Honestly as a Duke fan, employee, and alumni, I expected to be down, like 30 points by now.

Meanwhile Georgia State is beating Tennessee and Iowa State in that killer Big 12 opening weekend needed 3 OT's to beat Northern Iowa

While we were packing and cleaning, we watched a little of the OSU vs FAU game.

The defense has a little work to do, and needs to knock the rust off on some of the fundamentals but it may have been the fact that it was FAU.

For some reason we have never been able to get ABC here at the old house, even with an antenna extender so we missed the Ol' Miss game, but I am enjoying the Northwestern vs Stanford.

If we get to a decent stopping point tonight we will head to the new house where we can watch the Auburn vs Oregon game.

If not, I have my go to website where I can watch Fordham vs Central Connecticut State until the Thundering Herd of Marshall kicks off with VMI at 1830.

FSU vs Boise St. If I was still a seminole fan like in the old days I would be embarrassed.

Dominating the Vols. They are definitely the better team today. Sad how low our program has fallen.

Did anyone else see NV beat Purdue last night?

NV won the game with a last second, 56 yard field goal. The kid who kicked it was a second string, walk-on freshmen. After the game the coach presented him with the game ball and a scholarship!!

Unless Texas pulls a rabbit out of a hat next week, LSU will monkey stomp the shit out of them. Ehlinger will be running for his life, not to mention LSU has an offense this year to go along with their D.

Good first half but the second half the Noles shit the bed...WTF?! Embarrassing is the right word. I hate it bc I predicted FSU could very well loose that game and they did. As one of my good friends said afterwards, it boils down to coaching... ymmv.

And I’ll always be a Seminole especially since I received my undergrad and grad degrees from there. Live here plus I worked for the university for almost seven years. Looks like it will be another year of embracing the suck.

For the first time in my life I actually give a shit about a sports team, by association. Good to see BC get the win.

Clemson looked better against Georgia Tech than Alabama did against Duke. Then I think Duke is a better team than Georgia Tech, but Duke is at best a middling ACC team.

Not a great day for the SEC... Tennessee, Ol' Miss, SC...ol' Finebaum must be positively suicidal today....

They did not play bad, they just need to learn how to close out games. Yeah, they should have won, and it was a bad loss, but they'll learn from it and get better.
