Luther Smith, one of the original WWII Tuskegee Airman passed away Wed, December 9th, 2009 in Bryn Mawr Hospital.

http://delcotimes.com/articles/2009/...3492604453.txt Capt. Smith was not a MOH recipient. He and other Tuskegee Airmen were awarded The Congressional Gold Medal on 2007. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross among others, and was a POW. ( Mods, maybe we can move this to another forum. Papa Smurf, thanks for posting this. We all need to hear the stories of such men as this.)
