CSM Thomas "Jeff" Duty Funeral

Got a late update on CSM Duty's funeral in Arlington

He was only 45 when he was killed on 1 June in a single vehicle motorcycle accident in Alexandria, just after his retirement. While I didn't know him, he and HH6 had served together in the same Unit for some time.

Just received the information for Jeff’s service.

“The service will be held at Arlington on 6 November. Please feel free to pass on to anyone who may be interested.

We obtained the following information during a trip to Arlington this week:

People should arrive at Arlington by 12:15-12:30 and pull to the right side of Memorial Ave just before going through the main entrance. People will wait on the side of Memorial Ave until the administration officials signal its time to start the convoy. If the group is too big, the admin officials may move vehicles directly to the graveside. I have also arranged for Daniel O’Connell’s Irish pub to reserve their top floor from 2:30-4:30 after the service, but a small warning that it could be well over 100 people.

Please let me know if anyone has questions. Love to all. Kim”

Thank you.
