Funny story for those who didn't know Chris. He'd lost a leg along the way. He was working for a training company in Montross VA about 10 years ago and they asked us to help with their charity haunted house for the Boy Scouts or some such. Tripod volunteered to have his already missing leg cut off as one of the "stages" for the haunted house. He got a big kick out of having a fake leg cut off then wiggling his stump around while fake blood flew all over the place. He was very upbeat about only having one leg.
