My nurses are awesome as well(except for the chick a few years ago with tatoos and piercings and hungover like a big dog and could not hit a vein to save her life) My Doctors suck and appear to all be politicians. I have had 3 in 3 years, and now have none, not that I really GAF!

I never could stand for rude behavior in a man - or family for that matter. Sometimes you just have to give them the stink-eye or verbal beatdown in order to get their attention.

I've never seen a doctor at the Charleston SC VA hospital, only PAs, and never the same PA twice. The nurses are nice, the PAs are useless, the secretaries seem bitter from burnout, and the administration is dysfunctional to the point of cluelessness.

There hasn't been an orthopedist on staff in years other than just a dude who can recommend shoe inserts but doesn't do surgery. I drive over 50 miles one way to get there, so I asked them to pay for surgery through a civilian orthopedist. They wouldn't approve the one I was already seeing, and when when they finally referred me to a civilian orthopedist, they assigned me to one 40 miles in the opposite direction. When I saw him, he said that he was not competent to do the surgery (he was a shoulder specialist and I needed two ankles rebuilt) and referred me to the doctor I was already seeing because that guy is the top ankle specialist in the southeastern USA. The VA said it was shoulder-boy or nobody. I wound up paying for the surgery myself via my insurance at work with the doctor the VA wouldn't approve.

Job interviews suck, but I may have gotten much needed job only because I was the only one who showed up this week for a scheduled interview! The workforce these days is scary pathetic.

Two years ago the middle schoolers died my hair purple at church camp. Made for some interesting questions when I returned to the office.

VA in NH ordering the Bible removed from the POW-MIA table. I'm not religious and the Bible at the table doesn't bother me. Wish folks would get a life.

Yeah, like there never has been a POW, or their families, that has used faith to sustain them through the difficult times.

Or never any of our leaders offering up prayers of faith to those MIA or held captive.

Is anyone forcing someone to read the Bible?

Just another example of the progressive agenda and those abusing/misreading the constitution.

Maybe the VA should focus 100% on quality and timely medical care and benefits for Veterans.

Sitting in the Cancer Center Chemo room for hours trying to keep my sister encouraged and in good spirits.

I don't mind taking her at all. It just fucking sucks.

Stage 4 lung cancer metastasized from her breast.
