Esquire magazine article- USAF PJ's

I am simply in respectful awe of what these men can, and do, do. Many countries, including mine, have air force search and rescue technicians, but I don't know of any others that can function in the full spectrum of operations like the PJ's.

Excellent article. Recently two PJs jumped into the Alaskan bush to rescue a hunter mauled by a brown bear. Excellent.
We have quite a few Airmen on our SAR team but no PJs. They are the best.

Cool story. Hurt feelings in 3,2,1
when the Navy SEALS call 9-1-1.

They do that kind of stuff and more everyday out here in AK. An excellent asset to anyone outdoors.

These are great, solid dudes. The best of the best. I’ve had the opportunity to meet some PJs of the 212th Rescue Squadron. Good article indeed.

I went through the academy with a PJ who was in the same company as me. He then went on to be featured in the Perfect Storm bird that went down. The 106th rescue has many NYPD/FDNY members that are pilots/PJ's. My nephew is a PA in the army and just got back from a deployment and was speaking with a PJ and recognizing his accent asked where he was from. He was from NYC and was FDNY.
